Paving Refurbishment

Block paving refurbishment is a simple process if the steps below are followed in sequence -

Step 1: Treat the block paved area with fungicidal wash and weedkiller beforehand to erdicate any fungal spores, moss and weed growth.

Step 2: Wash the paved area using a high powered rotary headed pressure cleaner to remove any weeds, moss, algae or dirt from the surface. Remove any oil or diesel stains at this point.

Step 3: Sweep pure kiln dried sand into the joints between the blocks to stabilise the paving and stop it moving.

Step 4: Spray the paved area with Smartseal acrylic block paving sealer. This will give lasting protection and keep it looking like new.

* The acrylic sealant should be sprayed two coats to provide the most hard wearing and protective surface.
